The Adventure Team
The Adventure Team is a youth ministry program designed for youngsters who love faith, friendship, and exploration. Through exciting day trips across North Carolina, participants experience new places, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their walk with Christ.
Where
Pretty much anywhere in North Carolina. Our crew has been everywhere from the Zoo, to the Beach, and more exotic locations like the Sliding Rock. We’re always planning new adventures.

About Us
Our trips occur roughly once per month. We include a short devotional during lunch tied to the general theme of the trip. Group members may also engage in fundraisers for some of the more exotic trips, such as horseback riding. Some of the adventures are more home grown, such as caroling and seeing Christmas lights at the local light shows.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the trips safe?
we do our best to ensure that all of the trips are safe. Participants are required to adhere to any safety guidelines at the destination.
Can I accompany my child?
Parents of children involved in the group are welcomed to accompany their child. We ask that all involved children be present at Sunday School the week before.
Are there chaperones?
We generally have three to four adults who chaperone at the outings. All adults have received Ministry Safe training and had background checks performed on themselves. Anyone wishing to chaperone should reach out to the personnel committee.
How much do the trips cost?
Typically the church provides transportation and the participants are responsible for bringing their own bag lunch and money for a dinner stop that evening. For more expensive trips, typically once per year, the kids will organize a fundraiser.
